Manufacturing Safety Engineer Role
In this critical safety engineer role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing safe manufacturing processes and equipment design, ensuring adherence to internal safety standards and external regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day engineering support to production by troubleshooting production processes, equipment, and machinery.
- Design, implement, and maintain safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assess potential hazards, develop risk mitigation strategies, and enforce compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field (Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering).
- P.Eng licence and project management certification are assets.
- Minimum 4 years of working experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Safety Engineer, or similar role.
