Construction Safety Coordinator

Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily safety audits and jobsite inspections.
- Document findings and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Participate in weekly D&L safety meetings and all customer-led safety meetings.
- Assist the Safety Manager with safety training and new hire orientations.
- Help develop and improve safety materials and training programs.
- Provide first aid as needed and maintain first aid supplies.
Requirements
- 35 years of safety experience in a construction environment.
- OSHA 510 preferred.
- Degree or certification in Occupational Health & Safety is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform thorough safety audits and inspections.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with safety software is a plus.
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
- Proactive, dependable, and detail-oriented.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Sit or stand for up to 15 hours per shift.
- Climb ladders (up to 20 ft) and stairs (up to 120 ft).
- Lift 50 lbs unassisted.
- Bend, stoop, climb, or crawl as needed.
- Wear required PPE (steel-toed boots, hard hat, harness, etc.).
- Work in dusty/dirty environments and extreme temperatures (0°F120°F).

About the Role
This position reports directly to the Safety Manager and works closely with field and operations teams to ensure a safe, compliant work environment.
