• Coordinates search and seizure activities and conducts investigations as assigned.
• E nsures civil rights are not violated and all proceedings are in compliance with Department Of Labor and legal guidelines.
• Maintains effective public contact and communication.
• Ensures health and safety practices compliance.
• Ensures Department Of Labor and Office of Federal Contract Compliance Program regulations compliance.
• Conducts in-service training for center staff as required.
• Conducts subordinates training in center safety and security aspects.
• Reports unsafe conditions to supervisor anytime an unsafe condition arises.
• Completes required security logs, documents and records in a timely manner.
• Controls disturbances and assists staff in de-escalating volatile situations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Three years of security or law enforcement experience, one of which was in a supervisory capacity.
• Bachelor's Degree in criminal justice or related field preferred; or a combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
• Current First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification preferred.
