HSE Manager

Job Description

• Champion the development of a proactive safety culture in alignment with applicable legislative requirements and leading industry standards.
• Develop and implement the company's HSE program, designing management systems, strategies, and practices.
• Provide assurance to the Sr. Leadership team on safety frameworks through data, timely reporting, and active presence within the facility.
• Support the development and implementation of the company's safety culture and program.
• Assess safety regulation and systems, including performance monitoring and tracking, risk management, corrective actions, and relevant policies and procedures.
• Oversee risk assessment and mitigation measures on-site and before project commencement.
• Maintain a database of safety training and ensure compliance with all staff.
• Engage employees in safety matters and promote high personal standards.
• Plan, execute, and lead complex safety assessment and inspection projects.
• Provide subject matter expertise and reporting to management on safety regulation and compliance frameworks.
• Build relationships and partnerships with management to support continual improvement in safety regulation and practices.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in the HSE field in progressive roles.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership capacity.
• CRSP and NCSO designation preferred.
• Knowledgeable on OHSA - Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
• Strong interpersonal skills, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
