Job Summary of Environmental Health & Safety Manager:

This role establishes and implements health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure compliance with jabil, customer, and government regulations. The position requires overseeing EHS team performance, continuous improvement, and alignment with organizational goals.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Environmental Health & Safety Manager:

• Recruit, interview, and hire EHS team members and communicate criteria to recruiters.
• Develop and manage employee training programs, succession plans, and team development initiatives.
• Establish measurable goals, provide coaching, and conduct performance evaluations for EHS staff.
• Facilitate clear communication, foster team engagement, and promote a culture of safety and compliance.
• Develop and implement EHS strategies aligned with site and workcell business objectives.
• Manage costs by streamlining processes and monitoring departmental cost trends.
• Drive continuous improvement using data analysis, metrics, and trend reporting.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, OSHA, NFPA, EPA, and other applicable regulations.
• Chair Safety Committee and lead large-scale projects, ensuring team accountability and operational efficiency.
• Adhere to all company safety, health, and security policies and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience of Environmental Health & Safety Manager:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years of EHS experience at a managerial level, preferably in electronics manufacturing, new site startups, or construction-related EHS.
• Expert knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, NFPA 70E, OSHA 1910, and EPA regulations.
• Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills, including knowledge of algebra, geometry, and practical applications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email communication, and basic computing tools.
• Proven experience in change management, continuous improvement, and leadership of high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
