Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of branch safety and lean support, ensuring compliance and enforcement.
  • Conduct thorough Safety and Lean Checklist inspections.
  • Facilitate New Hire Orientations and Skill Assessments, providing necessary documentation.
  • Deliver training and licensing for field personnel on tools and equipment including Hilti Tools, MEWPs, Lull & Forklift operations, scaffolds, ladders, and stilts.
  • Assist management in creating requirements for New Job Start-Ups, including contract safety documents and safety plans.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment compliant with OSHA standards.
  • Support injured employees during their recovery process, including attending initial doctor appointments.
  • Ensure all documentation for any accidents, incidents, or property damage is completed accurately.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.

Requirements / Experience

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in commercial construction safety.
  • Proficient in using desktop computers, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and other electronic devices.
  • Possession of OSHA 30 certification.
  • Training to become an SPS Trained Trainer (provided by qualified personnel).
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
