Health and Safety Coordinator

A leading manufacturing company is actively seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Coordinator to oversee safety initiatives at one of their main production facilities. This organization operates manufacturing, assembly, and service operations nationwide. In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Plant Manager and work closely with facility leadership to enhance safety protocols and practices.

Your Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and manage comprehensive safety and regulatory programs, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee workers' compensation, conduct safety audits, incident investigations, and perform root cause analyses.
• Compile and prepare weekly and monthly reports detailing all facets of the safety program.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the safety domain.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a Bachelor’s degree; a degree in Safety & Health or Environmental fields is preferred.
• Possesses 4+ years of safety-focused leadership experience.
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of heavy manufacturing environments and is comfortable working on the plant floor.
• Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills.
