Entry to Mid-Level Safety Coordinator

Job Summary

• Implement, evaluate, and sustain HSE improvement programs aimed at preventing occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Perform regular site safety inspections and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Coach employees on safe work practices and facilitate meeting discussions on pertinent safety topics.
• Investigate incidents and write detailed findings reports.

Responsibilities

• Build trust and respect with field personnel to promote open communication and influence the adoption of new safety practices.
• Assist in the development and delivery of training presentations.
• Support project and safety teams within the organization.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in construction and environmental site safety.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
