Regional Safety Director

Job Description

At STRUCTURAL, we specialize in innovative infrastructure repair solutions. As the largest U.S. concrete repair contractor, our team of 2,500 employees delivers a range of specialty services nationwide and internationally.

The Safety Director will support operations by promoting our 24/7 Safety Culture, providing technical expertise, supporting project planning, and building relationships with operational leaders.

• Safety leadership and performance driven by attitudes and behaviors; incidents avoidable by giving core value status to safety excellence.
• Leading training in safety requirements, hazardous condition monitoring, and safe work tasks.
• Conducting safety assessments for federal, state, local, customer, and company regulations.
• Incident reviews and root-cause analyses with corrective solutions.
• Compiling and analyzing statistical data on occupational accidents and hazards.
• Subject Matter Expert in project-specific pre-planning processes.

Candidates must have certification from recognized boards (CSP, CSA, or CSMS), a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field, and at least 15 years of construction management experience with 10+ years in supervisory leadership roles. In-depth knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, and regulatory standards is required. Previous experience working for self-performing contractors and union trades is preferred. Travel is required.
